NBC’s early season schedule shenanigans

Last Comic Standing was canceled. Yes, the network was getting panicky about ratings, and canned this show one episode before completion. Makes sense, right – first they overexpose a good, funny show, and then, when people begin to tune out, they just can it. Instead, you’re forced to watch the Katzenberg marathon, and his “Lions in Vegas” cartoon.

C’mon, NBC, we’re only in the second week of October! You’re canceling shows already? Must be something breathing down your neck in ratings… Sucks, doesn’t it. Anyway, the episode was shot, and if you sniff around on the web, you’ll find out who won.

But if you want to see that last episode, tune in this weekend on Comedy Central (Saturday, October 16th at 8pm), and a repeat on Sunday, October 17th, at 11am). At least this way you’ll all feel satisfied.

Meanwhile, enjoy yet another overexposure of a decent show, Father of the Pride. Courtesy of your friends at NBC.

MORONS! No wonder the network is getting pounded in ratings.
