Emmy nominations and wins 2006

July 9th, 2006 | View Comments | Posted in Movies, Television |

Here are the nominations (and winners) for television’s best shows and actors. It’s good to see the new shows (Commander in Chief, Out of Practice, The Office, Rescue Me, My Name is Earl) along with oldies but goodies (West Wing, Law & Order, 24, Scrubs, The Sopranos). Unfortunately, there’s always a show or two that gets unfairly shut out of the nominations (Lost, Galactica), and a few shows that shouldn’t be on television, let alone, nominated (Two and a Half Men, Malcolm in the Middle). But, overall, these are good nods, to deserving people and teams. We’ve selected who we think are doing to win this year’s prize (see nominations in red, winners in green). Thanks for all the entries – unfortunately, everyone (including us) was really off with guesses. No winners this time around.
