Colbert Report in Canada

Stephen Colbert is coming to Canada next week! After only two weeks, the new Daily Show spin-off show called The Colbert Report is coming to CTV (and Comedy Network). Late night television is getting some tough competition as the midnight hour is being taken over by the little show (actually, two little shows) from Comedy Central. Conan, Craig, that other guy – run for the hills. Welcome to Canada, Stephen. We get you (and your older sibling show – The Daily Show), and we want you to stay forever.

Those watching in states, on Comedy Central, tune in right after Daily Show (11:35 pm) and watch Stephen’s hilarious take on the news networks’ insipid talk shows. We in Canada will be getting both shows an hour later (midnight), but it’s still back to back, and still fresh from the World News Headquarters (in New York).
