News › July 30th - The Village vs. Manchurian Candidate
Box Office Previews Opening this weekend: The Manchurian Candidate, The Village, Garden State, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, and She Hate Me. Naturally, the first two are going to battle for the box office throne. My advice would be to go see Garden State, or She Hate Me - small movies, with good ideas, and interesting stories to tell. If you absolutely have to see a big blockbuster this weekend, go with Manchurian Candidate - it may be a remake, but it's a remake of a great, powerful film.
